Principles of ethical regulation of knowledge control while teaching the latin language to medical students

This article reviews the core ethical rules for assessing knowledge of students during Latin language classes in medical universities. The text analyzes the survey results of first-year medical students. Even though most survey participants think Latin is important for medical studies, not all students are ready for their homework to be assessed during every class. The author presents the opinions of students about in-class testing and their attitude to homework. The article also describes the ethical issues that arise during tests, such as academic cheating, and the difficulties associated with their elimination. Essential forms and functions of control are found out. The basic requirements for control organization are presented. It is emphasized that tests must be unbiased and done on a regular schedule.
